I know 5 Star socks immediately, and although these aren't sturdy enough to earn that rating, they are certainly better than the 4-Star "GOOD" that LL Bean would give them.
These are very, very nice socks that rate more than 4 Stars, but not 5.
The reason for purchasing these socks were the reviews were great! The sock is a comfortable sock, however, the material washes terrible. I shouldn't have to turn these inside out to wash them, they look like I've worn therm for 10 years! Still have another pair that haven't been opened and they will absolutely be going back!
Very nice product, but run small in sizing. I bought large and they just fit. I wear a 9-1/2 to 10 shoe and usually mediums fit me like these large ones do. I will buy more, but they will be XL next time. No wool in them which is great, I don't go around scratching all day.
