I've had a couple of your Chambray shirts over time. They wear extremely well..........wrinkle free after washing........very soft and comfortable. AND the price is right!
Sadly, the category reads "traditional fit-plaid" when you click to write a review--not a good start. This is in reference to item #248929. I ordered Chambray Blue--a repeat of an item I've owned and now worn out. I noticed "light chambray" was sold out, but the color of Chambray Blue on the web seemed similar to my shirt so I ordered it. Wrong color. Don't order it if you're looking for a typical colored chambray shirt. I've attached a photo that shows the original shirt, the new (to be returned) order, and a snip from the web--showing what color is there.
Quit buying LL Bean shirts. They never fit. I buy a Med and they are too tight in the neck and short in the arms. I buy a Large and I feel like I can get another person in there with me. I would try the Tall sizes but I feel like I am being taken advantage of with the extra cost for being an odd size, which I am really not.
I want to add my voice to the chorus of dismay about what has been happening to our beloved chambray shirts. They were once great combination of casual and work shirts, now they look and feel more like cheap dress shirts. They once had a softer and heavier fabric that weathered as you wore them. Each change has been accompanied by an assurance you've done it just for us. Clearly you've wanted to create a cheaper shirt to sell to us at the same price. A shirt designed by an accountant. I've bought many over 30 years but won't buy another.
