I LOVE this shirt, and have come back to order a second. I don't have dough to throw around and, to be honest, Bean stuff is pricey when not on sale, but I really can't resist another one of these GREAT shirts while I can get one. I had a Perry Ellis light chambray, a few years back, and looked all over for a replacement when it wore out. This one really fits the bill; 5 stars!
I have four striped versions of this shirt and wear them often. They're comfortable and look good with chinos, jeans, or cords. I pull them from the dryer when they're still slightly damp, hang them up, and the wrinkles vanish. A great buy.
This is a very handsome shirt. It may be chambray, but with a touch up ironing it looks as good as a dress shirt. The collar is well-made and lays smoothly. It has held it's finish nicely. The slightly faded look is not too pale- it doesn't look worn out. My husband wears it as soon as it comes back to his closet!
If you're looking for a shirt that will retain it's sleeve length, LL Bean, with the right care can take care of you. I am a guy who is too small for Big & Tall, but too big for regular stores. The XXL Tall from LL Bean if washed and pressed hot will retain it's length time after time. Color fade is minimal, and comfort and confidence in this shirt is great.
