I bought the Chambray Blue shirt earlier this year and decided I liked it so much I would order another one. Upon receiving it, I noticed the colors were not the same. The blue was a little bit darker than the first shirt I had purchased earlier. It would be nice if LL Bean could focus on consistency in the manufacturing of their products.
These chambray shirts are real performers. I particularly like the clay color. I only wear Wrinkle-resistant and Easy-Care LLBean shirts. I buy them in all the fabrics. The chambray is one of the more comfortable choices. It stays neat all day, and breathes well.
The shirt is made of disappointingly thin and cheap cotton fabric, and certainly isn't up to the quality I would normally associate with the term Chambray, or with L L Bean. As I'm in England, it's just not worth returning this shirt to Maine.
These chambray shirts are so thin and flimsy you can put your elbow through the fabric. In your attempt to make a "no iron-easy care" product you've compromised a quality fabric for a really cheap imitation. with the look and feel of polyester. I', going to have to start searching else where for a good chambray shirt. What's wrong with ironing???
