Ordered these for my husband, who is pretty picky about footwear and has narrow feet.
His medium width fit very nicely, he loves the sheepskin lining and feels they're a good value. He was surprised by the tabs and "fur" at the heels but now calls them "kickplates"; he feels they'll help prevent wear and tear from removing a slipper with the opposite foot.
Great features and design, good value for the money. He's finally happy!
I have boought these slippers in the past and had good luck -- until now. The pair I bought 2 years ago is falling apart -- literally. I am not hard on things, but these look like a dog got to them, and all from just wearing them around the house. I am wondering if I need to purchase the higher, more expensive model to get the longevity..
My last pair lasted 5 years and I wear them every day. Inside and outside to get mail and throw our trash. You can buy less expensive slippers, but not really; as those don't last 5 years. Eight dollars a year for slippers seems pretty good and they get to know your feet.
My two sons, aged 15 and 17, attend a boarding school in Massachusetts. and they go through at least one pair of these moccasins every year. That may seem excessive, but they wear them as their regular shoes all year in all kinds of weather - even deep snow- as, it seems, do many of their schoolmates. That they last this long under such extreme use speaks very highly for the quality of the product. We'll keep buying them as long as the boys want to wear them.
