These are quite possibly the most comfortable pair of slippers I've ever owned. They also keep my feet nice and warm. The sole looks like it is of good quality so I imagine they will last quite a while before needing to be replaced. I received them as a gift, but I would definitely buy them for myself. Buy a pair for yourself; you won't regret it.
I bought these slippers for my Dad for Christmas. HE LOVES THEM. When his shoes come off after work, those slippers go on his feet. He says "They are the best, most comfortable slippers he has ever owned". I would recommend these for any man who needs a nice pair of slippers.
I have long been a fan of the mocassin style slipper and have bought many different brands over the years. However since discovering the LL Bean product about 5 years ago, this is now the only slipper I buy. I am on my second pair right now, although I will be honest and say these are well worn and will be replaced very soon. I personally prefer the chocolate brown color as the seem to be a bit more able to hide some of the day-to-day spots that make the lighter colors appears dirty and worn. They are very soft and comfortable when they are new, although as you would expect, that tends to wear off the more you wear them. However they remain warm and comfortable throughout their useable life. The quality means I don't have to replace them ever year like I did with less expensive slippers. I highly recommend this slipper if you like the moccasin style. The price is slightly higher, but when you consider the longer lifespan, it is a much better value.
