I haven't ever purchased anything from LLBean that I wasn't happy with until now. I was given a pair of Wicked Moccasins as a gift. I clean for folks as a profession and I wear slippers instead of shoes in their homes when cleaning. I spend lots of time on my hands and knees and these slippers almost immediately got holes in the toes. I asked for another pair for my birthday and decided not to wear them cleaning. However, I only had them a week or two and noticed a hole in one of them: this time the leather was separating from the sole. I returned them to LLBean and they replaced them with the pair I now have. The other problem I have with these slippers is that when I wear them, I walk my socks down into the slipper. I am hoping that when the shearling is completely formed to my foot that the socks will stay in place. Even though I have had troubles with these moccasins/slippers, most people won't be wearing them out by being on their hands and knees. They are still a great product and except for the air that sneaks in through the holes in my toes (yes, I still wear that old pair when working because I don't want to ruin another pair), they keep my feet toasty warm.
I love my new slippers, in fact I loved them so much my husband HAD to get a pair for himself. I have serious problems with my feet and these keep them so toasty...almost too warm sometimes..but I won'tcomplain. Highly recommended!!!
Although I'm not overly fond of the looks, they are wonderfully warm and the rubbery soles are perfect for our slippery stairs. I wish the leather laces would stay tied.
These are absolutely the best slippers that I have ever owned. Not only are they extremely comfortable, they keep my feet toasty warm as well. I am very pleased with this purchase.
