This is my second pair of these slippers, the first with the new design. I don’t really notice a big difference, but they were great either way. Super comfy, soft and I love that I can wear them outside too. The first pair I received looked like two left uppers had been sewn onto a left and right sole, and they were really big, but LL Bean sent me a new pair right away and they were perfect. I miss some of the brighter colors, but the brown is really pretty. My only wish is that they had a removable insole that could either be washed or replaced. Other than that, these are great. My last pair lasted about 2 years before they started to get worn out inside. Maybe with the new design, these will last even longer. All in all, a good investment. I usually wear anywhere between an 8 and a 9 in shoes, and the 8 in these fits perfectly. I like that I can tighten the laces a bit because I have very narrow feet, but I wish there was some magical way to keep them from coming untied. I tried what someone else suggested, which is to wet the knot, and so far it seems to be holding. I take away one star just for the lack of removable insole and the ties not staying put. I highly recommend these, and they make a great gift too.
I just got a pair of Wicked Good slippers and they are like heaven on my feet! They are super soft and keep my feet warm during this cold, Maine winter :)
I went with the recommendation to order a size up since my shoe size is 81/2. The size 9 were too long and wide. I could not keep them from slipping out at my heels. I called about size recommendation and was offered an exchange and a return mailing label. The slippers arrived very soon after and the fit was perfect. It is hard to buy shoes online without being able to try them on first, but Llbean made my exchange easy. I wear the slippers at home every day. They are comfortable and my feet never overheat with the sheep shearling.
