Nice looking slipper moc, but had to return both mine and my husband's because there is virtually no cushioning or support in the sole. We each have foot problems and suffered pain due to lack of cushioning under foot. Our hardwood floors were painful under foot. If you have any foot problems, I recommend the Wicked Good Clogs - the support is excellent and the sole molds to the contour of your foot. My old clogs are starting to go and I thought I'd try the moc, but I'm going back to the clogs. The clog is not made for men, but because I liked it so much for myself, I am ordering it for my husband in a couple of different sizes in hopes it will fit him.
This is my third pair of these slippers and I do still like them. But where's the quality? My last pair was 4 years old which is why wanted a new pair. While those didn't have holes in them, they were just worn. The old pair had thick supportive suede with thick fleece. These are thin on the sides and the fleece is not as thick. I have worn them every day since I received them as a Christmas gift and already they feel thin under my toes. I have to pull the laces tight because they seem wide (perhaps b/c of the lack of fleece?) They jumped in price by $10 from last year (I remember buying my daughter some then) and yet the quality is less. Not sure if LL Bean will see this, but I hope they do and fix these issues. I don't anticipate these will last 4 years like the last ones did.
I have always bought these slippers even when they were $49. I recently bought these slippers, I bought many pairs over the years,many for family and friends also. They are now $69, I think they now cost more and are not as good. They do have lambs wool,which is good, but their fit is different. I always bought same size 8, and they fit a little snug when you first put them ,on but they then fit perfect. The new slippers are an 8 And they are loose, my foot moves up and down, I'm sure I will end up not using them. Maybe next time I will have to look elsewhere to find a pair that fit right.
If I could wear these to work I would! These are the warmest most comfortable slippers in the world. My feet could be freezing and I slip these on and am whisked away to comfy warm bliss! I have fallen asleep in them frequently! I have walked my kid to the bus stop with them on so they seem to be holding up well to indoor and outdoor use. They definitely aren't cute but they are warm and sturdy!
