I've been dreaming about these slippers for years and finally decided to treat myself to a pair of the legendary Wicked Good Slippers. I am not happy with my purchase. 1) The sheepskin fur was sparse and the shoes are not as warm as my 4-year old (other brand) slippers. 2) The right shoe looks odd. It looks like some pieces from a different size were used and stitched on to the sole. The right shoe doesn't look like the mate of my left shoe. 3) The outer pieces of the shoe were cut inexpertly and are a little jagged. Quality Control should have flagged this pair. 4) The only good thing is the soles. But the flaws outweigh the one positive feature.
wife liked them from the first, but then she said they were too hot for indoors and not meant for outdoors, we are in georgia, in Maine she would have loved them longer. so we had to send them back and got a down vest for the kid instead. wasn't the moccasins fault. I love mine and i kept em.
I had been looking for several months for a really comfortable pair of slippers and was delighted with these even though I had never even tried them on. They fit well, have alot of cushioning and strong sole for outside wear. The chocolate brown is great color.
I've bought the Wicked Good Moccasins for years and am generally happy with my most recent order. However, I DON'T like the new criss-cross pattern on the soles, which tend to trap debris. I wear these to go out to get the paper or take out household trash. The grooves trap all sorts of stuff, especially if the ground is damp. and the debris doesn't come out even when wiping my feet on my doormat. I have to use a bamboo skewer to remove anything trapped in the grooves. Not sure I will buy these again if they still have this sole.
