This is my 6th pair of Wicked Good Moccassins over many years. I wear them all winter around the house and they last 2-3 years. They are so comfortable and warm. My only complaint is that the laces never stay tied. But I have solved that problem by gluing the laces tied when I first receive them and I never have to worry about loose laces!
I have owned these for about 4 years and they get quite frequent, but light use. I wear size 7.5-8 and ordered size 7, based on previous experience with sheepskin slippers (diff. brands). They seemed snug at first, but because of the thick shearling and soft suede, they conformed to my feet quickly, as expected. I ordered the dark brown and the color is exactly as pictured. The soles have held up very well, but they are used mostly indoors - very few excursions. There are no problems with stitching. The ties can sometimes come loose, as they are a bit stiff/thick, but of no concern to me - one could tie them and put in a drop of glue and never have a problem again. Being natural wool shearling, my feet don't sweat in them like with the polyester-base faux shearling in many other brands. The shearling has packed down flat in the sole, so the warmth has decreased. Also, within 8 months, all the shearling wore off a 50 cent-piece-size circle under each heel - it just fell out in a wad one day, leaving a slick spot. This is a good product, but I will not buy them again at regular price (originally purchased on sale). I feel they are very expensive considering the amount I personally use them (this is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5). I will consider them if they go on sale. However, if you need a pair of such slippers/shoes for long-time and/or heavier use, then they would be a good purchase, as they are very durable and comfy.
That's what my sister yelled at me during Christmas breakfast. And yes, I will admit...I WAS petting my slippers. And perhaps I was gazing as them lovingly. And later, I may have said "is it possible for my feet to be too hot?"
There's not much I can add to a product that already has 3,124 reviews. Except to say that these are the most excellent slippers I have ever owned. I will never wear another pair. Ever.
