I have only been wearing these for about a week, but am totally in love with them. Wonderfully comfortable and warm, plus nice hard soles that allow for going out to get the paper in the morning. Can't compare them to those of years past, as these are my first pair. But I would recommend them highly to anyone,
I wasn't sure about them when I tried them on in the store, but I decided to give them a try at home. They felt too wide and long in actual wearing. Unfortunately they don't come in half sizes. The shearling on the outer edges is very thick making it difficult to walk normally in them. It would be better turned up around the ankles. Sorry LL but they are going back.
I've a difficult time taking these off because they feel wonderful. The color is very nice, as its not a cherry red. Length at a 1/2 size up is perfect (wholesizes). The titling of the slipper is very appropriate, as they are wickedly good. The materials from which they were crafted are quality, well constructed. The sole of the slipper has gentle rigs to provide traction, something of concern if you are purchasing these for an older relative.
Wow. Should have bought these right away. Could have saved a lot of money buying look-a-likes. They are so warm and offer some support. If necessary, there is room for me to add my orthotics for addtional support.
