These slippers are warm, well made and comfy... Except they felt VERY narrow and seemed long in the toe area. I have slightly wide feet and typically wear Dansko clogs. Wearing these slippers my toes felt like they were being squeezed! They were asleep, very uncomfortable and cold within half an hour. So sad because these are just what I was looking for in a slipper. That being said, if the toe bed area isn't a problem for you, this is a fabulous slipper! I can see them being a favorite. Maybe they stretch with time, but it was too uncomfortable to wait it out..
my wife loves them so much I just orderred a new pair to replace the other one. she wears them all the time. christmas presents will be these mocassins
I have been ordering Wicked Good Slippers for many years. My husband and I wear them almost every day. Up until today I have been extremely satisfied with the quality. I ordered the navy pair of women's wicked good slippers and received them yesterday. The shearling is very thin....so thin that I can feel the sewing around the front with my toes. Very uncomfortable. And they run very large. In the past the warm soft comfy shearling was so thick that they were a little snug for the first few days. These new ones feel like they are almost worn out. I am very disappointed with my new slippers and have gone back to wearing the ones I've been wearing for the past year as they still have more shearling padding in them than the new ones. I'm sorry to say that I will be returning these slippers. I'm going to order the natural colored ones in the hopes that the shearling will be the quality I am used to from LL Bean.
I was so excited to get these slippers, but when I put them on my feet, the shearling was just was not as squishy and thick and plush as I'm used to. I've been buying Bearpaw slippers the past few years, and they are very plush when new. These Bean slippers felt like the wool would wear away quickly, and like it wasn't from a very wooly sheep at all. For the price and the reputation of Bean slippers, I thought these would be quite luxurious, but they're not. Also, the tongue of the slipper gets caught on the top of my foot as I put it on. I'll be returning these and buying some Bearpaws again.
