started off snug but loosened up as i wear them as you would expect with leather. they are warm and comfy. I'm not sure why they use a different sole material than the men's version which seems more durable but I'll give these a try. I had trouble with the fur ripping prematurely in a prev pair - it's too soon to say how these will hold up but I'm hopeful.
These slippers are comfy and warm. Unfortunately, once the leather laces come untied, it is very hard to keep them tied again. The laces are too long, and are hazardous when they become untied.
I like the slippers generally. They have nice thick shearling all throughout. The fit is also good - I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10 that fits nicely. One design flaw as previous reviewers have noted is the tongue is way too short! Because I like the slippers, I will keep them, however, I will look for a shearling piece (maybe at fabric store), that I can sew onto the tongue to make it longer. Also, for those who like a little more ankle coverage, the stitching that holds the shearling down on the sides can be easily removed, and then the sides can be rolled up higher. Overall, the quality seems very good and this slipper should last.
I was buying these to replace a pair of Wicked Good Scuffs that I've had (and loved) for several years. I bought the same size and they are very wide (i.e. I can't keep them on my feet). They also did not seem as luxurious as I remember the scuffs being when I first got them. I was tempted to return them for the scuffs, but after reading reviews there, it seems as though this product has changed dramatically in the last several years and I don't want to keep having to return things. One of the few items I'm returning...
