The Shoes are great. However, we had to return the shoes because they were too narrow. I would be nice if there was more than one width medium. So, if you have a wide foot, don't order these shoes.
Like many other reviewers I am so sorry that L.L. Bean does not have USA made clothing and footwear. I had a pair of Wicked Good Moccasin Slippers that were WONDERFUL! Not any more. I do wish that L.L. Bean would consider improving the quality of footwear and clothing.
I have severe arthritis and these are the only footwear which I have ever worn which actually RELIEVES the pain in my feet! When out and about or at work I can't wait to get back home to slip them onto my feet. They are so comfortable that I have purchased 2 pairs of the sandal style slippers which have the same thick sheepskin-like cushion, one for my home here in Maine and one for my home in the Bahamas. Thanks Bean for having such a wonderful product!!
I bought these many many years ago and they wore well and I loved them. When it came time to search for slippers I thought I'd buy here again. After wearing these for months and trying to figure out what the problem with them is, I finally figured that the shearing inside is not trimmed all to the same length. It has caused my toes to hurt. At first I thought it was because the length was a bit short. (Where are these made now?) So no, I would not buy these again. Fortunately I have a friend who had the shears to trim the fleece a bit so will make do.
