Perfect for Indoor AND Outdoor Wear
PostedSeptember 6, 2012
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Just now replacing my first pair that lasted through 2-1/2 years of constant use, including taking the dogs out. They stayed cushiony until their demise! Comfortable in winter and summer. Decent traction on snow in the winter, and the sides are high enough that when walking through a light accumulation of snow, snow doesn't get into your shoe.

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable
I have had these slippers for more than 4 years and they show no signs of wear. I wear them to class and running errands when I am feeling extra lazy, and the soles are hardly even worn. They are so warm and comfortable, they make my feet sing after a long, cold day. I haven't had a problem with the ties coming undone like other reviewers. I just love these slippers.

Prospoor quality
I first purchased these slippers in 2005 and they were amazingly high quality- comfortable and durable with a perfect fit. I lost them in a move a few years ago and had replaced them with what I believed were significantly cheaper and poorer quality Minnetonkas. I wanted my old LL Bean slippers but the price had jumped a whopping $20! Finally I decided to treat myself and replace my "cheap" Minnetonkas. My package arrived today and my first thought was that maybe they weren't the size I ordered. Nope. Then I read the card that explained how they should fit (snug). These were so loose in my forefoot that I could have easily worn skiing socks with them. They were quite loose so I tried to tighten them but it just made the slippers too tight where the tie was. Needless to say, these were not what I was expecting. I tried on my Minnetonkas and did a comparison and it is so clear that LL Bean's are poorer quality. Right out of the box these looked a bit off but I was hoping for the best...sadly, these are going back and I will probably order a pair of UGG slippers.

Comfortable, but...

ProsComfortable
Yes, I do LOVE these slippers. They are extremely warm and comfortable. But the quality does not match the (ever-rising) price. They stretch out a lot, and although I take very good care of them, the stitching from the sole has come out on both pairs that I have bought after about three months. When I bought my first pair three years ago, they were $20 cheaper and I wore them for about a season and a half. I got the second pair as a Christmas gift and they lasted less than a year before a hole appeared in the toe and the stitching came loose. Overall, I'm disappointment in the price and the quality of these slippers.
