I bought these for my mother as she prefers a slipper that has a sole and is easy to slip on. The slippers look at expected except that the upper of one slipper is visually wider than the other -- I would guess about a quarter inch of difference. The soles are the same width on both. I also bought a pair in a different color for myself and they don't have the problem.
Although it is too early to tell if the slippers will be durable they do appear to be well made and are extremely warm and comfortable. I got them on sale and they are worth the price I paid.
