I bought these and returned them ONLY because I wanted the Moccasin looking ones without the fur. I want to be able to wear them out and about and have them not look like slippers. They are so warm and comfy. I highly recommend
I've owned no less than 6 pair of these over the years and given them as gifts to countless friends and relatives. To say I live in these slippers is an understatement. The quality of this last pair is horrifying. Far less cushy, and clearly cheaper materials. The lining inside wore out within a couple months. I'm so upset that I have to find a new type to wear but I refuse to spend that kind of money on shoes that are cheap and fall apart so easily.
I typically wear a 9.5 or 10 in women's shoes and the size 10 was too small. Width was fine - I am medium to a somewhat narrow. Otherwise, they were so soft and cozy - would have loved to keep them (didn't realize I could have exchanged for a larger size before returning).
I ordered these slippers (in red) and when I got them in, I slipped them on and I must say that everyday I live in them when I am at home in the cold months. They are so comfortable, and warm with or without socks. The laces do come untied quite a bit, so I just took some superglue once I tied them how I liked and they work and look wonderful all the time! Thanks LL Bean, another great product.
