These are unusable for me. The toes are too pointed and the toe box is too shallow. The top flap on the moccasin is so short that the top of the foot is exposed to the cold. The positive is that it has a good sole which I need on my slippers so that I can go out to take out garbage, etc. I see that all the recent reviews are negative and most say that they have bought these in the past but that they have been changed radically for the worse. Too bad. I was hoping that they would be like my well-shaped synthetic fur knockoffs but with real shearling.
Bought these awhile ago and stored them in my closet while still wearing an older pair. Finally put them on the other day and they are very wide and longer than the previous pair I had (both size 8) The fleece is also different - more of a fur than fleece. Will be passing them onto a family member with bigger feet.
I have purchased this same slipper several times over the years. It is my all-time favorite slipper. Unfortunately, I had to send this pair back because it is much wider than normal. It was even wider than my same model stretched out old slippers that I was trying to replace. Additionally, the inside tag in the shoe has been relocated to the bottom of the shoe (where the sole meets the side) and it is irritating. I hope LLBean will go back to the old sizing and put the tag back on the upper side of the shoe.
