I order up to a 9 from my slipper 8.5 standard (although I usually wear a 9 in street shoes), per the catalog's instructions to order up to the next whole size. The 9s were huge, but the slippers actually included a card that said they should fit snug and your feet should feel a little confined (the fleece will become compacted over time, making the fit roomier). Hmm, how could ordering up a size make the slippers feel snug?
But a quick call to LLBean's amazingly helpful customer service took care of all, including waiving the $6.50 return shipping for an exchange, and my new size 8 slippers arrived a week later. I love them, and the fuchsia color is so cute too :).

They are wickedly awesome! They are so comfortable, they are the first thing I change into after work. If I could wear them to work, I would. Definitely recommend!!
these are exactly as described,the best thing i have ever put on my feet !! as soon as i return home the first thing i do is put them on and smile !! i wear a 51/2 -6 in shoes .i ordered them in a size 6,could tell that if they loosened up i would be slipping in & out of them so reordered them in a size 5. they are perfect in every way. i have always been more of a socks around the house type of person. read all the reviews and decided to try them to see what everyone was raving about . i love them and will always own a pair !!! don't ever change them llbean !! you've got a winner .
