I work from home and bought these about 4 years ago as my "working shoes." I live in them, and wear them nearly every day aside from the summer when I sit by the pool. They are still comfortable, even though I have worn almost all the fur off. I see from the pictures the soles are different now...I'm wondering if anything else has changed? As for those complaining about the laces, I had that problem when I first got my moccasins; however, the laces DO tighten the slippers because the laces wrap around the whole foot (under the fur)...at least the old version did. And the laces did "break in" after awhile...just keep working them, pull the bow tiiiight and they will stay tied.
The slippers are basically ok except that the leather thong ties don't stay tied which loosens the fit. My previous slippers didn't have ties and fit fine. How do you keep the thongs tied?
Got a pair after Christmas to see what all the fuss was about. Well... now I am addicted to these slippers - first things that go on when I come home from work - wear them all day on days I work from home. So cozy, cute and warm - no socks needed. Can run out to the mail even when wet or light snow on the ground. Perfect fit too. Bought husband a pair for his birthday and now he's addicted to his as well. Great slippers - going to buy family and friends a pair for Christmas!

Ok, now that my made up jingle is over, SERIOUSLY.... these slippers! Every waking moment that I am I inside the house, my feet are in these slippers. It doesn't matter the temperature or time of year. My floors have become so filthy ever since I've owned these which is over a year now, because I don't notice the dirt on or spills on the floor like I used to. If you are the type of person, like myself, who cannot stand stepping in wet puddles with your socks on, and would rather cut off your feet than stand for the irksome sensation, then these slippers are for you!
I normally take a size 6.5 to 7 shoe and ordered a 7. They are roomy enough to allow for thick socks to be worn with them in the winter, but still fine without. I like my slippers roomy.
My only complaint is that the bows keep coming untied. I've yet to try the glue trick that I've seen others mention. I keep blindly thinking that if I just tie it tight enough, that THIS time it won't come undone. WRONG!
