I have sore toes, the coldest feet in the western world and I like to go barefoot. These slippers are fab, the fleece cushions my toes and feet, they are warm, and now with a hard sole, far more durable. These are easy to slip into. In essence, these are what slippers should be...and they are .. PERFECT!
My last wicked good slippers lasted several years, probably 5. They had a pebble side and were a red color and lined with fleece. Inside and out were in good shape when I decided to retire them.
The lining of these slippers wore off in less than a year and now the toe has separated from the sole. I glued it last night and so far it is holding together. I spent more than I would ordinarily because of the great quality of my old slippers. I won't make that mistake again. I can buy slippers that will last a year for less that half the price of these.
I love these slippers! They are so very warm and cozy and soft. Warmer than my previous wool slippers and fleece slippers. I think they run a bit large--I usually wear a Women's Size 8.5 shoe (39 Euro size) and the Size 8 moccasin fits perfectly as the shearling has packed down. I'm sure this won't be my last pair.
Great slipper, but be aware that they run a FULL SIZE small. Wish I had know that before I bought them. Now I have to go through the hassle of doing an in-store exchange during the holidays.
