I bought these moccasins for myself and normally wear a wide size. I was very happy with the fit even though they do not come in a wide width. With all the soft wool inside, they easily adjusted to fit me and surround my feet with a pillow of softness. I love the fit and the comfort. The sole is perfect as it can allow you to go outside to get the newspaper, walk downstairs to the basement, or anywhere inside.

The slippers were a Christmas gift for my 86 year old mother. They were such a big hit that she had to admit she was "naughty" and opened them early. She called to tell me how wonderfully warm they are. The traction is excellent as is the quality. A BIG HIT on the Santa parade.

The moccasins are wonderful. Fit was perfect and as expected. The high quality of the moccasins is rare in today's society but can and should be expected from any LL Bean product.
Not the quality workmanship of LL Bean. Too much "furrrr" outside the shoes, I just want a pair like the men have with the warmth IN THE SHOE, not OUTSIDE THE SHOE and the sole is missing enough sole it use to have!!!! I will need to go to a shoe repairman to "TRIM" the excess....sorry, I cannot recommend this choice.
