I was afraid to order these because my feet are fairly wide and swell easily. I often can't wear medium width. I ordered them a half-size up. These are quite snug on me, more so than they might be for others, but are so very comfortable. I'm delighted with them.
After two pairs of the Wicked Good Moccasins, each only lasting one year, I can't see giving them another chance.
The stitching that joins the top and side pulls out, which causes the moccasin to separate near the lace area (see photo). With my first pair, the stitches came out along the outer sole. The sole became detached near the toe area and presented a tripping hazard.
The men's version, which I've just now replaced for my husband after 8 years, appears to have better stitching overall. The stitching that holds the top and sides together goes up further, almost meeting the lace, and the cord on his pair seems thicker.
These moccasins are comfortable when they're not falling apart, but it doesn't take long to get to that point. $69 slippers should last longer than one year!
This is my second pair of moccasins from LL Bean and I still love them! I have rheumatoid arthritis and these feel so good on my feet. They keep them warm and comfy. As soon as I get home, my shoes come off and my moccasins go on. Thank you LL Bean!!
Just wanted you to know that the "wicked good slippers" have been a huge success. The cats think that they are wild animals and spend much time pouncing, kicking and tossing them in the air. I, however, am enjoying them (when I can find them) for their comfort and warmth. Thank you so much.
