My friend has owned these for many years so I took her advice and ordered myself a pair just about two years ago. Within a few months of wearing, the fur wore out many places including the heel. So I exchanged for another pair. After just 1 year of wearing (only during the cold months), even more fur has worn out and now there is a hole in the toe. My friend's 5 year old pair is in better shape than my 1-2 year old pair. Did you change the manufacturing of this product? I'm very disappointed.

Great slippers
PostedMarch 4, 2016
I love my Moccasin slippers. After reading the reviews I ordered a size down, which was much too short. I wear a 9.5 and ordered 9. My toes were cramped into the shoe. I returned them for a size 10 and they are wonderful. I have worn them all winter in the house to keep my feet warm. I even wear them outside in light snow when I let my dogs out. They are great. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a warm slipper that also looks good.
These are by far my most favorite piece of footwear that I own. I got them this past Christmas and they go on my feet the minute I get out of bed as well as the minute I walk back in from work! I think they are well made and I love that I can run the trash out to the street in them because they have a hard sole. They are soft on the inside and warm, but not too warm. I wear them with socks if my ankles are cold but they are nicely warm without socks too. As far as sizing goes, I would go down to the next full size if you are a half. I am normally a 9 1/2 and sometimes 10. But I got a 9 in these. They were snug like a glove for the first few days, but have since molded to my feet and the lambs wool has compressed a bit. So they accommodate my wide feet now. And I can tighten the strap from time to time. All this to say, I would recommend these! And I'm thinking of giving them as gifts to my parents! Everyone should have a pair.
I have worn (and LOVED) my wicked good slippers for 3 years and it is now time to replace them due a hole in the toe. Who in the world expects slippers, worn every day, to last for 3 years? Only L.L. Bean.
