I am on my third pair of these and have always loved them, such a relief to put on after long day of work. I got a new pair for Christmas this year and finally tossed my old pair to wear my new ones. Just feels like the foam cushion on the sole is not what it used to be. The Shearling surrounding the feet may be more substantial and still very soft, warm and comforting for the feet. Just doesn't feel as substantial on the sole. The toe area almost feels like no support/foam at all. One of them seems a little crooked, too. Will keep them since LL Bean does have great return/guarantee policy and they were a gift, too.
In the past I bought a new pair of these slippers at the beginning of each winter season every year, by the end of the cold season they always have a hole in them or are falling apart in some way. I am always disappointed, yet continued to order them and pay the expensive cost for many years. NOT THIS YEAR! I bought a generic pair from a big box store exactly like the LLbean slippers and not only were the significantly less expensive, they have stayed together completely and seem to be a much better quality. No holes, not falling apart and still comfortable. As a loyal llbean customer, I am sad to say that I will no longer purchase these LLbean expensive slippers! I do not recommend these slippers as they will not last even one season!! Too expensive and low quality.
I so love these slippers! They are cozy, warm, comfortable plus they have a waterproof sole! Also, considering how well they wear and how well they are made, they are a great value! I just purchased a pair for a birthday gift for my mother too. I will never even consider buying any other slipper as long as I can get these!
This is the third pair of Women's Wicked Good Moccasins I have purchased from LL Bean over many years! I guess it is due to the heavier weight, thicker sole on this pair but they seem to run large. I pulled up the laces as tight as possible to keep them from slipping up and down on my heels but the heel of the sole drags when I walk. I am wearing really thick socks at it helps. The quality of workmanship is great.
