I honestly got my slippers about 2 or 3 years ago and they are still holding up well. I loved them so much that I had bought my mom a pair as well. I wear them all the time and they are super warm and mold to your feet nicely. I've even run out to my car in them b/c the soles are waterproof and rugged. I do agree with the other reviews that the laces do come unlaced often and is very annoying. I wish they still had the fun colors (mine are fuchsia) cause I'd love to buy another pair for up at our camp.
I love LLBean products and although I was wary to spend $69 on a pair of house slippers, I took the plunge after reading all the great reviews. However, although they are very warm, the shearling cushion flattened out after a month and they were not as comfortable. Also, the laces never stayed tied so I ended up cutting them off instead of tripping over them all the time. I still use them on occasion, but would not buy again.
They're not sexy but they're slippers. I love them. Not wild about the color Santa (my husband) chose so I'll be getting another color sometime soon but these are great.
These were comfy, cozy, and cute when they arrived! And apparently I loved them to death, because the soles have huge holes in them. I wore them around the house 2 years, about 6 months each year. I don't know, maybe I was expecting too much. But I had a similar pair of slippers for which I paid $30, and they held up for 4 or 5 years. I guess I was expecting LLBean to surpass those "no names".
