Received as a gift so kept, though not my style. Exchanged for 7 when I usually wear an 8-8 1/2. Was excited though for a good, comfortable pair of slippers. What a disappointment. No support or cushioning. It's like walking on thin rubber. Wore them without socks and my feet actually hurt at the end of the day. Have to wear thick, heavy socks to have any comfort. Will soon be going back to my old Dearfoams. Sadly, these will probably rot before I will wear them out. Will not exchange as the $hipping charges back and forth will not be worth it.
These are the kind of slippers you hate to take your feet out of in the morning and can't wait to get your feet back into at the end of the day. I LOVE these slippers. The fit is true to size. (Order up a size if you wear a half-size). The lining is soft and comfortable and molds to the shape of your foot within a day or two. I love that should anything be amiss with the feel or fit, they are covered by LL Bean's unconditional guarantee, but to date, I haven't had to take advantage of that perk. This is the fourth pair of Wicked Good slippers I've owned. Each one has lasted an amazing two seasons; amazing because I truly LIVE in these slippers come winter. I would definitely recommend these slippers to a friend.
I ordered these in the blue and when they arrived they were absolutely beautiful! So well made, so cozy, such a good solid sole, I thought I had found my dream slippers. I am a size 8.5 trending to a 9 sometimes in my shoes and ordered the 9. Unfortunately, the fit is not right as follows: the heel/hind half of the slipper is way too loose such that when I walk, my foot slips forward and toes touch up against the front. Conversely, I think if I sized down to deal with the width, that the toe box wouldn't be long enough for me. I can't be 100% sure the smaller size wouldn't fix it, but I have decided to order the hearthside slippers instead after talking to a representative who agreed they seemed more narrow. The hearthsides don't seem like they'll be as amazing as these ones could have been though :( If these fit you, you're in for a beauty of a pair of slippers... Good luck!
I'm normally a 6.5/7, so I followed the advice to order up. Ordered a 7 and it is way too big all the way around—width and length. So big I can't get any grip/traction to keep them on my feet as I walk. I'm definitely exchanging them, not returning them. They're so luxurious on my feet—now that I've experienced the feel, I can't imagine being without them until the new ones arrive!
