Oh my, these ARE NOT the Wicked Good Moccasins I l

You have 'improved' them by changing a perfect design. I don't know who you listened to, but it wasn't me. They WERE perfect, now at least to me, they are unwearable.
Looking at the sole I can see that the difference in design is quite obvious, left is very close to right in shape, meaning that the toes are 'rounded' - giving the big toe less room then the middle toes. I don't have 'stick out' middle toes, so this design is not good for me.
I can also see why there are so many complaints about 'lack of padding'. I wore these in front of the TV for an hour last night, even though they were uncomfortable, to see if it was just me 'not liking a new design'. Nope. My toes rejoiced when I took them off. The padding at the toes... lacking along the seam line, which rubbed my big toe even just sitting still. I'll keep shoe-gooing my old slips until they are unwearable. (They are at least 4 years old now!)
I have purchased these slippers for years. This year is my first "updated" pair. I wear an 8 and they run true to size/width. I do have to tighten up the laces so they don't slip off my heels but that's what the laces are for right? :-) They are very comfortable and not rigid like some slippers. They are great right out of the box, no need for a break in period. My only request if you're listening LL Bean is add a gray color! If you can do blue and red, you can do gray.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE these slippers, but after a while the fur mats down and they start falling off your feet! I got my normal size (8) So i would definitely recommend getting a size down if you don't want them falling off later. They are probably going to be tight but definitely try them on first if you can or order 2 sizes.
