At first I absolutely LOVED these slippers. I bought them for the winter I lived in New England. They were great those first few months. I put them away for the seasons, then when I pulled them out last winter, they only lasted maybe a month then got a huge hole in the left toe! I was super disappointed because I absolutely loved these and they were a splurge for me. I even tried duct taping it back together, but no luck. I'm really sad because they were so comfortable and warm, but I definitely won't buy another pair.
I received these slippers as a gift 4 years and ago and they still look great--despite the fact that I use them as take-out-the-trash, run-to-the-corner-store type slippers. The rubber sole is comfy indoors but durable outside. The suede (in the color "Brown") resists stains and discoloration. And did I mention how comfy they are? Don't know if they're made in the USA but I hope they are. 5 stars.
A nice red warm slipper but heavier than I expected. They were uncomfortable for me since they are totally flat and I need a slightly elevated heel for comfort. They have been returned. Wish llbean offered something similar with a slight heel lift and a narrow width which I need for my slim feet. Also I want some arch support which is absent from this slipper. Can't seem to find those requirements anywhere and I live in slippers all day long. So my search goes on.
I love these slippers, they are wicked wonderful. If there were half-sizes, I’d order 2 more pairs, because these are really ultra-comfy, soft and warm, but I can’t get a perfect fit. There is a deep layer of shearling; and it’s so much nicer than the faux. The little stiff label at the inseams, are very annoying if you wear them with bare feet; you need to cut it off; couldn’t they have just included a card the box? I don’t like cutting anything on clothing or shoes. The colors are very nice; I bought natural and blue, both are lovely. I always wear 8-1/2 W in LL Bean shoes , so ordered up one size. They are a little too roomy without socks, but the 8 would be too short and too snug. I’m stuck in between. LL Bean: are you listening to us? Please have half-sizes manufactured! Nonetheless, I bought a pair to give as a gift.
