These slippers are warm and soft. They fit well and because of the sole they can be worn outside. I have been buying these for my husband for years but this is my first pair. I would recommend them to others.
Be careful when re-tieing the laces as the fabric is very thin and tears easily where the holes for the laces are punched. Less than 90 days use by my daughter who came home crying because her mocs had ripped when she was re-tieing them at school. The fit and comfort was good - but LL Bean should use grommets where they have punched the lace holes.
These slippers fit me perfectly. My size 8 foot borders on "wide," but these fit fine, plenty of room. I can even put a small arch support in them for extra support. These are very soft and kind to tender (arthritic) feet. They come up a bit on the sides with the fluffy lining and are very warm. I can wear them outside to get the paper because the bottoms are vinyl (or whatever they are). I have another pair made by a famous manufacturer, and the LLB's are better.
I wore the pink ones for several years, then decided to donate them because the bottoms were worn too slick. I threw them in the washing machine so they would be clean to donate, not knowing how they would come out. They look fine, nice and clean for a thrift shop. I stuffed the toes with newspaper to absorb the water inside. I would not recommend regular washing, but I was glad to give them away in a clean condition.
These are really wicked good slippers! They fit well both in comfort and size and I'm really pleased with them. I have a hard time finding slippers that are this good in comfort, size and just plain great looking!
As with all LL Bean, purchases, these slippers were sent timely and are really worth the price.
I hope to purchase another pair, when these wear out OR maybe before that!!
