I wish these would have worked out for me, but I have a narrow heel. I wear a 9.5 or 10 shoe so I ordered the size 10. They seemed a tidge too long. Luxurious feel on the foot, but my heels were slipping out. :( I had to return them. I'm thinking of ordering the bootie style, hoping the heel problem goes away, but I am afraid that I will order the wrong size ... 9 or 10? I just don't know so I haven't placed an order yet.
I bought a pair of women's slippers just before Christmas for my wife. A month and a half later and the fur flap on the left moccasin started to unravel and separate from the side of the slipper. Perhaps a smaller flap or roll of fur could be designed into the slipper to lessen the chance of this happening. It might give the slipper a cleaner look.
I love these slippers. They do initially feel snug when you first get them, but they adjust and mold to your feet beautifully. I had a pair for 6 years until I literally wore a hole through the sherpa where one of the toes sits. 6 years later, I'm happy to report the design of the slipper is still the same comfortable design. Cozy, warm, these can't be beat. I also like the rubber bottoms, perfect for that quick jaunt outside to get something.
These moccasins are comfortable and cozy with the shearling pretty much wrapped around your foot. The outer sole is flexible and protects the slipper when I need to step out on the porch or deck without changing into shoes.
