L.L. Bean has me as a customer for life. They are warm but not hot, they look good and with the type of sole, can go outside when necessary. My mistake when I ordered slippers that were like "slides" and fell off my feet. I exchanged them for the Wicked Good Moccasins. No fuss or muss. Sooo comfortable. Love ya Bean. Best customer service around.
Love these moccasins! So warm & comfortable! They are my wear all the time around the house...These are my second pair, also had them in brown, but wore them out...
I have purchased this wonderfully warm slipper many times in the past in a size 9. I just ordered a new pair in a different color & found that I could not keep it on my foot. The heel was much too loose even when I tightened the laces as far as I could. I sent them back for a pair of the same color as my old pair, thinking it was due to the different color of the fleece, but I had the same problem with the second new pair. I do notice the tab in the back is about half the size it use to be. It may have kept the heel a bit more rigid. I can't downsize to an 8, because then the length would be too short. Unfortunately I will have to return them.
Oh well, the new & improved version (beautiful new color) of the zippered fleece robe I have been cuddling in for years didn't fit either. Why oh why does LLBean have to "improve" on something that wasn't broken? : (
