There is no comparison between real sheepskin and synthetic fleece. These slippers are the thickest, softest, most comfy slippers I've ever worn. We'll see how the fleece packs down over time. As some others noted, the heel is wide but tightening the laces helps keep your heel from slipping out.
I wear a size 5 1/2 shoe and ordered these Wicked Good Moccasins in size 5. They are a perfect fit. I wear them whenever I'm home and they keep my feet wonderfully warm.
