I'm on my third pair of these. Since they are on my feet whenever I'm home (except for the month of August), I do actually wear them out. Warm and cozy even though in the winter my feet can get cold very easily. The rubber sole makes them extremely practical, since one can run outside in them to get the mail or down to the unfinished basement to do laundry. Will never buy anything else!
The leather ties DO NOT stay tied causing a trip hazard. After only a few months use, the fuzzy insole has come apart leaving the feet cold. I would not recommend this item to anyone. Very disappointed in LL Bean, they ususally have outstanding products
My normal shoe size is a size 9. Like the other reviewers that had ordered Wicked Good moccasins before, I found the new version to run on the wide side. The 'brand new fit' was comparable to what you would expect after wearing the slippers a couple years. Not that they were too long in length, but very loose in the heel area, slipping off of my foot as I walked. But I found the remedy: rather than send them back, fearing the length would be too short, I decided to tie the laces as tight as they would go and- voila!!... A snug, cozy fit! Don't send them back but try tying the laces tight. I think you will love the slippers!
I've had these for two years and love them. My only complaint is that the lining has worn out in the heal area. Is that normal? Should they be replaced? Can they be washed?
