These slippers are terrific. They feel so warm and comfortable on the foot. They may seem pricy but will last for several years so really cost less than replacing inexpensive slippers every year or so. One suggestion: I had these slippers previously years ago and followed the recommendation for half sizes to go up to the next whole size. I did that and found the slippers were too loose on my feet after they stretched some (and they will stretch). I wear an 8-1/2 shoe so this time ordered these slippers the next LOWER size, size 8 and they fit perfectly. And it's great that the sole allows me to step outside to the mailbox without having to change shoes.
My husband is a minister and we live in a parsonage with hardwood and tile flooring. There is no insulation under the floor. I had tried several pairs of houseshoes, none could keep my feet warm. When I saw these, I decided to give them a try. I love them!
These slippers have the fluffiness, footbed cushioning, rich color, warmth, and sturdy sole promised in the description. I appreciate that, though they are very warm, they do not make my feet sweat because of the absorbent nature of the shearling. I wish I could sleep INSIDE one of these. One note on size: I am a 9-9.5 in most shoes. I bought the 9, and they are plenty big enough. Not too big, but I wish they were a tiny bit smaller.
