I've tried to like these boots. They seem to be made well; But I'm having problems with the area between the 1st and second set of eyelets over the toes. The boot creases into my toes with each step. I have tried unlacing the boot to not include 1st set but it doesn't help that much. I have used on dayhikes hoping to get use to it but to no avail. I had bought these boots for a backpacking trip in the Grand Tetons but I think I will just have to wear my old boots. For me it was a waste of money.

I have the worst time trying to find boots and shoes that fit. I'm 5'4" and have small but VERY wide feet. I have to get size 8W in everything. Footware shopping is an ordeal I hate so I was really leery about buying boots online, but these boots fit perfectly right out of the box! The size 8 were plenty wide for my feet and are so comfortable it's going to be no problem breaking them in. They actually don't even feel like they need to broken in.
The quality is excellent! They're strong, sturdy boots, insulated and waterproof and perfect for hiking, but I've been wearing them around town as well, and have had no problem with sore feet afterwards! I honestly think that these boots will last me the rest of my life. I can't imagine them EVER wearing out! They are completely worth the price! I'm thrilled with my purchase!
The day after i bought these boots i hiked Mt. Washington. 12+ miles in brand new boots. The most comfortable hiking boots ive owned yet. Kept my feet dry and cool all day.

These boots are amazing!
They are my first pair of hiking boots, so I was nervous about wearing them in, but they were comfortable right away. I wore them backpacking around Peru, including a hike into the Colca Canyon. They didn't chafe, or pinch or give blisters, and were very waterproof!
Even after weeks of backpacking, and hiking through a dusty desert, they are in amazing shape. They will probably last me 20 years at this rate...
I also had a wonderful experience with LL Bean's customer service. Though they actually mixed up my order twice, they managed to make me forget all about it! Each time I called, they were super friendly and apologetic, and had a replacement pair to my door in mere days.
Really, really impressed with the product and the service!
