Very pleased

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I spend quite a bit of time in the woods doing forestry competition projects with kids so I needed a good shoe. I did a lot of research and found the Cresta hikers came with excellent reviews. I ordered my boots just from the reviews and I am very pleased. I don't buy footwear on the internet as a general rule because I like to try them on but I took a chance and the boots fit right out of the box, have good ankle support and were comfortable even during the breaking in period. I never got a blister even after climbing many hills. I have been through mud, streams and snow and my feet stayed warm and dry. These boots are dependable. I've had these boots for about a year and they have gotten quite a bit of wear and they still look new!
I highly recommend this boot. I am going to buy a pair for my husband for Christmas!!

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, good for adventure, great for climbing
This pair of boots was actually LL Bean's final chance of redeeming its footwear as their Mid-Cut Gore Tex Mountain Treads saw 3 pairs falling apart on me in 2 months total without any hiking usage. This pair of boots however is INCREDIBLE. After breaking them in which didn't take terriblely long, I tried my hardest to punish these things with as much adventure I could, and they are still going very strong. I've done construction and demolition in them in New Orleans, hiked the Inca Trail in Peru, trekked in the Himalayas through rivers and alongside goat herders, jourenyed through the Alps in France and Switzerland, trudged through mud and dirt in rural China, and they are still in incredible condition. They have literally become an extension of my body and I wear them all day, every day, as my travels continue. I'm even able to sprint and run in them when I have to. Buy these boots, as someone who beats their belongings to a pulp across the globe, I wholeheartedly endorse these. Oh, and they look cool.

hiker dream boot

The boots are totallybroken in after 12 miles of hiking. The boot is waterproof as advertised having submerged them in a stream and mud. The best part is the support reduces fatigue and muscle strain so I was able to maintain a rapid pace without fatigue. I reccomend them highly.
