These are top quality hiking boots that take a very short time to break in. Once broken in, they feel like you're wearing slippers. They are so comfortable to wear, they make you want to hike and walk farther than before.

I recieved the boots and they were a little short for my foot. So, I had to exchange them (L.L. Bean are the best with returns), which turned out to be a blessing. I applied for an L.L. Bean Visa Card and got 10% off of the Gore Tex Cresta Hikers. They are a little warm but not enough to really matter. I don't do a lot of hiking in the hot months. They are very well built. Totally waterproof and I love the hard toes of the boots. I can't wait to take them on a big hike. These are some great boots that will make the most advanced climber a little envious. I highly reccommend these Boots.

When I first purchased these boots I was a little skeptical. However, after breaking them in I realized how amazing they are. They are everything I was looking for; comfortable, gore-tex, sturdy, and attractive. They are comfortable in hot summer temps and in cooler fall temps (I haven’t worn them yet though a winter). So far I think they are the bees Knees.

Absolutely fantastic hiking boot. Tough, light, protective, classic looks and a great value. I have gone through several other brands through the years and I can tell you that this is a quality boot. You can feel and see the quality and care that has gone into making this product. Excellent leather. I am ordering another pair to have just for casual wear and to have a backup.
