ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I wear a women's size 12, and it is just about impossible to find a women's hiking boot in that size. My old boots no longer had the grip or support I needed for hiking, so I took a chance on buying a men's Narrow in size 10. Not only did they fit perfectly, they have been great boots all season. First hike out was 7 miles through ugly mud....they felt great, no blisters! They're holding up very well. I'd buy these again!

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
On June 26 2011 I completed walking the Camino de Santiago or Saint James Way. 800 kms from Saint Jean Pied du Port, France to Santiago de Compostel, Spain. The day befor leaving I fell and fractured a small bone in my foot. My Gore Tex Cresta hikers kept me well splinted and comfortable during my hike. My path took me over paved roads, woodland trails to steep mountain passes, all that time my boot kept me comfortable and gave me great traction on the trail.
Thank you for a boot that performed exeptionaly well during my 32 day hike.

I like 'em!

ProsComfortable, Performing as Expected, great fit for narrow heel, low volume foot and wide, across the toes
I am an experience hiker (AT '98) and have found these boots to be more comfortable than any other I have worn. Only one issue, I seem to be catching the upper hooks and pulling them straight. Repeated bending back will probably break them.

The ONLY boot that fits my wide feet!

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I am now on my third pair of Cresta Hikers in six years. I have two key things that make it hard to find hiking boots: 1) I live on a remote island where there are no outdoor stores and 2) I have very wide feet.
I ordered and promptly returned THREE pairs of boots from other companies before I found the Cresta Hikers. They have taken me through bogs, rainforests, and lava fields. My feet are comfortable and dry every time. I work in an outdoor job, so I really wear these boots - each pair has lasted me over a year, and that is wearing them in the field at least three days per week.
I LOVE these boots, and will order them again when I wear out the pair I have now.
