I wear them 6 days a week. On second pair in 15 years. A little polish now an again and they look as good as new. Simply the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. Craftsmanship is impeccable.
I was unsure about buying shoes on-line... since I had never done this and it seems obvious that one should try on shoes before buying them. However, it worked out great! My husband has hard to fit feet... size 14 narrow...and yet these boots fit perfectly! All the great reviews were TRUE... they actually were comfortable right out of the box. They also look nice. My husband is a school teacher in NH and is on his feet all day and he comes home each night saying "Honey, I love these boots!" He has never thanked me so much for any gift in our 11 years of marriage. It is worth noting that my husband also has bunions and has to wear inserts and the boots fit even with the inserts. We have never paid so much for boots but they are totally worth the money and really arn't more than what I saw for leather boots in the stores.
I bought a pair for my husband probably a decade ago. He finally worn them out so I replaced them this month. The fit is great out of the box, same great quality. His foot runs wide, especially in the middle of the foot. He's a tough fit but these are always perfect. Please never change this product! Sturdy, weatherproof, will take you many, many mountain miles!
I can walk forever in these without getting tired. I recently took trips to Ecuador and Peru, and earlier this year to South Korea, where I had to do lots of hiking. These were the only shoes I took because I knew they would be the right ones (except for casual ones for around hotels, that is). I have had my current pair for several years, and they seem like they will never wear out. When they do, I will be right back to the store to get another pair. The support they offer for hiking and walking is excellent.
