I purchased these boots about 5 months ago for a trip to Alaska next summer. They are so comfortable that I started to were them to work everyday. I work for a big box home improvement company and walk between 6 and 9 miles a day on concrete floors. These boots are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned without exception. They also seem to be standing up very well to this hard use.
These boots are beautifully made and fit well. They come in 3 widths and are hand assembled in Italy. They have a Gore-Tex bootie and offer fantastic support. A great buy too.
This is a no-nonsense hiker. It is as tough and sturdy, as it looks. But the surprise is how comfortable this boot is, right from the first walk around the house. My wife bought a pair too, especially for the high ankle support. We look forward to many happy trails!
