The coat arrived in excellent condition and is well crafted with high quality materials - typical of L.L.Bean merchandise. This new version (exact same cost except no more leather collar which got all warped anyhow) is a purchase replacement to a well worn and LOVED jacket from many years ago, due to the durability and quality we get from LL Bean investing in their products is a no brainer.
The actual product color does not even come close to the Olive green picture shown in the website. Very disappointing as the color was confirmed by two representatives. Both pieces are going back.

My first field coat I got in 1990 was sold accidentally in a garage sale 2years ago, so I ordered a new one. Same Saddle color, same wool liner. My old one fit perfectly and was faded and worn from years of use! When I got the new one I folded the sleeves up to show the green corduroy. The liner is longer than the sleeves when rolled. They hang out of the sleeve by about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Also the collar seems more pointed than before.. Neither is a problem, but only got 4 stars.
