ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I had been looking for exactly this kind of coat for working around the property during the winter and still comfortable driving in the truck. The size chart was right on and the fit is generous enough for layers but not too baggy. Frankly I still can't believe the bang for the buck.
I have a field coat from the late 90's handed down to me--this is nothing like it. The fabric weight is lighter and not as densely knit. The buttons are now plastic ( or an inferior quality) and the construction not as carefully done.
I have never been so disappointed in a Bean product. I can't recommend this to anyone and am at a loss for words for further review.

Love this jacket. I have only had it about 2 weeks, it is already my favorite. I got the one with the middle level lining and as it is only mid-November in Has only gotten down to around high 30 degree mark here in NYC, but actually warm at that degree level. Highly recommend it. I cannot check off if it is durable because I have only had it about 2 weeks, but it feels like it will wear well opver the years ( it is water repellent too).
