ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This field coat was purchased for my husband. He thinks it is perfect; he likes how well it is made, how good it looks and since it is washable and fits so well, it is a keeper. It is an excellent coat, and would cost much more elsewhere. Incidentally, I have an old one from years ago and it looks like new and actually is more attractive than the ones now being offered for women.
This coat as a an authentic look and feel. It reminds me of the one my Irish grandfather wore. I also appreciate that the liner can be removed since I live in Southern California and otherwise would rarely get a chance to wear something like this.
The coat is durable. Mine has shrunken over time and maybe five washings. The buttons fell off and had to be re-attached. If you buy over-the-counter sunglasses or reading glasses with plastic lenses, the zipper in the breast pocket will scratch them - I lost three pairs before I figured out where they were getting scratched...

All I do is change the colors when I get a new one. These coats wear really well with continual use. Wash very well. With the wool lining can b used well into winter. They stand up well to hard use. In another 5 or 6 years I'll be ordering another.
