My husband was looking for a new field coat. I purchased this and another field coat from another mail order catalog company. My husband chose this coat, hands down. He liked the style, weight, the fact that the interior liner is removable, and fit. Priced a little more than I would have liked, but overall, a great product!
It's not often I'll get to use this coat as I live in Southern CA. However we do have snow in the mountains and is has gotten in the low 40's and heavy rain in the winter.
I wanted a durable coat with pockets just like the one I used to wear to the stable back in Chicago. This is a fine example with the removable lining.
It's not fancy looking but you would buy this coat for the durability I'm sure I'll get out of it. I don't know if it will last 15 years like the last one so I'll wait to give it a 5th star then.
I always ordered the women's version of this coat - but for some reason - the company changed the design...so I ordered the men's coat instead. I just need to get used to buttoning on the opposite side. Feels like the older verion I had - for a LONG time.
this coat is actually a great quality coat, however, the size is way way off. i had ordered a small and when it arrived, it looked like an extra large! my husband who is a large tried it on and it was still loose on him. i was very disappointed as this was a christmas gift for someone who is a size small.
