I have had this coat for several years & I wear it on cool days when it is too warm for my winter coat but also too cold to wear just a sweater or sweatshirt over what I am wearing.
It is definitely not a coat to wear in the dead of winter (though I often see people wearing what I assume is the PrimaLoft version of this coat on the coldest windiest days & they look quite comfortable).
All in all an excellent coat to wear on those autumn walks through the woods. The canvas stands up to brush & prickers & the pockets are quite handy.
This coat is warm, comfortable, wears well, and I really like the unique pockets that open on the top, then open from the flap. I can say nothing wrong about this coat. I wear my other LL Bean coat, too, it's also great! You can be comfortable buying anything from LL Bean, great company to work with!
