Thank-you for the exceptional quality of this classic coat. The receipient of this coat has owned one for over 20 years...loved it...and is quite happy that his "NEW" coat is exactly like the old one... (you know these men...hate to break a habit). Thank-you for allowing me to give a great gift !!
Purchased the Saddle colored jacket and I am really impressed with the look. The wool liner is Very comfortable and warm. Overall, probably the best jacket I have ever owned.

I had to exchange this for a different size and L.L. Bean made that a painless transaction.
Excellent coat. Pockets are large and easy to use even with gloves on. It does fit larger than I expected but with a sweater on the fit is fine. Buttons are not sewn on very well and will have to be attached more tightly. Contrast between collar and the rest of the coat could be more distinct. Kept me warm during recent snow falls while shoveling snow and it looks good when going out in the evening.
