Size was perfect - fit comfortable. Quality as expected from LLBean. Have only had a chance to wear a few times but am looking forward to wearing more upon my move to NC. I am encouraging my wife to buy similar product for herself.
I had been looking for a good coat for some time, and this one fit the bill. It has a good, comfortable weight to it, the wool liner has kept me warm mid-winter and it's easy to move around in. I would have no problem recomending it to anyone.
My field coat was as expected, well made and warm. I know that buttons are the tradition for this coat and I thought they would make little difference to me, but, I think I would prefer a zipper. A zipper would make the coat even warmer by trapping the air better. Perhaps an option of buttons or zipper would be good. Otherwise, I'm well pleased with another L.L. Bean product.
