Ordered this field coat for a friend. Just what he was looking for! Warm, durable and comfortable. He says he is now ready for another Ohio winter. I am so happy that I got such a great deal by using my accumulated "reward coupons" earned with my LLBean credit card. Ordering experience was great. Coat arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
I purchased this coat thinking it was the color displayed on the website but when it came in the mail today I opened up the package to find the coat wasn't olive but grey with a SLIGHT hint of green. I was excited to wear this coat all the time but now I'm having second thoughts. Very well made otherwise.
Weather here in Texas has a while before it turns cold enough for my new coat.When it does, Fits well and I'm certain it will keep me warm. It is made well and I'm sure it will will last me for many years. The only negative I have is the coarseness of the material. I wish the material was a little more refined and fitting for casual use as well as work.
Great overall everyday jacket running in/out of cold weather, picking up kids, etc. Multiple pockets handy for all sorts of items the task at hand demands. Only wish breast pocket was deep and more secure for smartphone.
